Renovation of the Grand Hotel Gardone: a luxury for Lake Garda

The Grand Hotel Gardone, a historic establishment located on the shores of the lake, is set to undergo a radical transformation thanks to the intervention of Apex Alliance Group and Paval Holding, which acquired the property in 2023. The project plans to renovate the hotel into a luxury five-star property within Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts collection, with work scheduled to commence shortly and expected to last approximately 18-24 months. The reopening is anticipated for the summer of 2027, featuring innovative architectural design by the De.Tales studio that will harmonize the building’s historical heritage with contemporary elements. During the project’s presentation held at the Municipality of Gardone Riviera, details of the new vision for the Grand Hotel Gardone were unveiled. Among the key updates will be a restored entrance, a new pavilion with an indoor pool facing the lake, and completely renovated interior spaces. With 160 elegant rooms and a spa inspired by the tranquility of the lake, the hotel aims to become one of the most exclusive destinations in the area, thereby enriching the local tourism offering and attracting visitors from around the world.
