The Fiavé Pile Dwelling Museum and the Retic Museum will reopen to the public on Saturday, March 1, marking the beginning of the new spring season for archaeology enthusiasts. The museums, managed by the Archaeological Heritage Office of the UMSt Superintendency for Cultural Heritage and Activities, will be open on weekends and public holidays. In conjunction with the “Sunday at the Museum” initiative on March 2, admission will be free, and guided tours will be organized at both museums and the sites of Roman Trento.

On Sunday, the Fiavé Pile Dwelling Museum will offer two free participatory tours titled “Did you say pile dwellings?”, allowing visitors to explore daily life in the pile-dwelling village dating back over 3,500 years. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to experience an immersive virtual reality film dedicated to life in a pile dwelling. The Retic Museum will also provide guided tours focusing on the ancient peoples of Val di Non, further enriching the cultural offerings of the day.
