Alto Garda: Climber Rescued on the San Paolo Wall in Arco On Friday afternoon, a German climber born in 1999 suffered an accident while tackling the second pitch of the Lecciomania route on the San Paolo wall near Arco. During the ascent, she fell approximately ten meters, sustaining a back injury and temporarily losing consciousness. Her climbing partners, who were resting at the first pitch, alerted the Single Emergency Number 112 around 2:30 PM.
In response to the call, the Unified Emergency Center dispatched a helicopter and sent two operators from the Trentino Alpine and Speleological Rescue from the Riva del Garda station. Thanks to the prompt intervention of the rescue technician and the doctor, the injured climber was reached and assisted; she was subsequently transported on a stretcher to the helicopter at Prabi and transferred to Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento for further treatment.
