On the afternoon of Sunday the 12th, four hikers stranded on the southeast ridge of Pizzocolo, at an altitude of about 1300 meters in the municipality of Toscolano Maderno, requested the intervention of the Mountain Rescue. The call for help was received at 2:15 PM, prompting the deployment of teams from the Valle Sabbia Station, part of the V Bresciana Delegation of the CNSAS – National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps. The rescue technicians arrived swiftly on the scene, joined by the Fire Brigade, to assist the hikers who were unable to continue.
