Rescue of Two Tourists at Castelletto di Brenzone: A Derelict Boat on Lake Garda. On the afternoon of Sunday, June 22, a motorboat was spotted adrift in the waters of Lake Garda, near Castelletto di Brenzone. Officers from the Naval Operational Section of the Guardia di Finanza, while on patrol, noticed the approximately six-meter-long vessel that was abandoned and contained only a few personal belongings. An alert was immediately raised to initiate a search in the water.
Fortunately, it was discovered that the two occupants, including a minor, had been rescued by another boat and transported to Gargnano. According to reports, the young individual had jumped in to swim but encountered difficulties; the second tourist attempted to assist him, and both ended up at the mercy of the waves, losing the chance to return to their boat. The timely intervention of the authorities prevented more serious consequences for the involved tourists.
