Rescue Operation at Manerba Fortress: CNSAS and Firefighters Recover Body

Rescue teams recovered a woman’s body from Rocca di Manerba after a recent search operation. The intervention was initiated by the Valle Sabbia station of the Alpine Rescue (CNSAS), focusing on previously explored and critical areas of the site.

During the operation, rescue technicians spotted a silhouette during a descent along the cliff face. Support came from drone units of the Fire Brigade, the Coast Guard, and medical personnel from AREU 118 confirmed the victim’s death. The body was retrieved via the Fire Brigade’s “Drago” helicopter.
