Revitalization of the square in Lonato del Garda: cultural events coming soon
Lonato del Garda has recently inaugurated the revamped Piazza Giovanni XXIII, a redevelopment project aimed at providing the community with a welcoming and versatile urban space suitable for cultural events. The works, completed with an investment of 200,000 euros, included the creation of a lawn, an amphitheater, and pedestrian areas, enhancing the safety and functionality of the approximately 4,300 m² area. The project was primarily funded by municipal resources and includes a portion obtained through the regional call for proposals “Commercial Districts 2022-2024.”
To celebrate the completion of the redevelopment, a theatrical performance by Viandanze Teatro will take place on Sunday, August 31, at 9:00 PM. The event will be preceded by the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a new beginning for this important meeting point in the municipality. As emphasized by Mayor Roberto Tardani, the goal is to transform the square into a modern and accessible space that fosters opportunities for gathering, celebration, and reflection for both residents and visitors.
