Riva del Garda and sustainable mobility: events in September 2025
Riva del Garda is gearing up to celebrate the European Mobility Week from September 16 to 22, 2025, an initiative aimed at promoting more sustainable transportation behaviors. This year, the theme “Mobility for All” seeks to ensure access to sustainable transport for everyone, regardless of factors such as income and ability. Throughout the week, special events like “Bike to Work” and the free Rivetta service, which connects the Baltera parking area to the city center, will provide opportunities to reduce traffic and enhance accessibility.
The program includes various educational activities open to the public. Notable initiatives include “Walking with Heart,” dedicated to social inclusion through interaction with guide dogs, and educational pathways focused on road safety rules for younger participants. Additionally, visitors will have the chance to explore the Cyclo-collection Museum at the Virgilio hotel, an exhibition that celebrates the history of the bicycle. These events represent a significant step towards more conscious and environmentally respectful mobility within the local community.
