Riva del Garda and the anti-violence center: new active listening services
The Anti-Violence Center of Rovereto officially inaugurated a new location in Riva del Garda on Monday, October 27, an initiative that adds to the existing services in Cles and Cavalese. The ceremony was attended by several local authorities, including the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, and the Mayor of Riva del Garda, Alessio Zanoni. This new opening marks a significant step in enhancing the listening services dedicated to women who are victims of violence, with the aim of expanding the support network in the area. The center will be operational every Thursday and will provide psychological, legal, and social support, as well as pathways for reintegration into the workforce. The project is funded by the Province with over 666 thousand euros until the end of 2026 and aims to ensure personalized support to help women escape violence and regain their autonomy. Through this initiative, the authorities intend to strengthen the presence of anti-violence centers in Trentino, making services more accessible to those in need. Italian Version
