An exhibition on cultural heritage has been organized in Riva del Garda by Italia Nostra Trento, in collaboration with the Interregional Coordination for the Protection of Lake Garda and the Alto Garda and Ledro Environmental Protection Coordination. This event is part of the “Minor Project: A Beacon on Cultural Heritage,” promoted by the national Italia Nostra organization, and aims to highlight the beauty of the garden road designed by engineer Cozzaglio between 1926 and 1930, inaugurated in 1931. The organizers warn that the environment could suffer severe damage due to the structures planned for the Garda Cycle Path.
The exhibition includes a section dedicated to historical research, made possible through collaboration with the Alto Garda Museum and the Vittoriale degli Italiani, which have provided access to archives and authorized the use of photographic materials. The preview of the exhibition represents a significant moment of dialogue among the various political, administrative, and social components of the area. The exhibition will be open to the public every day from 10 AM to 6 PM with free admission.
