A significant event will take place in Riva del Garda on Friday, March 7, in celebration of International Women’s Day. The Congress Hall will host the theatrical performance titled “How Does a Love Story Begin?”, a work that addresses the issue of gender violence through an original musical written, directed, and performed by Martina Scalini and Alice Stratta. The event is set to begin at 8 PM with free admission, although it is advised not to bring children under 16. After the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to interact with the cast and Dr. Giulia Valzecchi, a clinical psychologist and criminologist, who will participate in an open dialogue.
The show is based on real testimonies and the lives of the authors, illustrating the differences between healthy and toxic relationships. The narrative highlights the early signs of a violent relationship, the experiences of victims, and the lasting consequences such relationships can have on their future lives. The event is organized by BE Shows and Events and Pro-Crea Onlus, with the patronage of the Municipality of Riva del Garda and the support of numerous local sponsors.
