Riva Streets Prepare for Annual Fair with 477 Stalls and New Layout
There are 477 stalls that, from this morning at dawn, have been set up along the streets of Riva. This is slightly fewer than last year, about 5 percent less, but not at all because requests to the municipality from street vendors have decreased. On the contrary. The Riva administration prefers to create spaces between each stall, making it easier for vendors to move around and reducing congestion in the city streets.
The layout of the stalls
The novelty this year is represented by the stalls on Viale Madruzzo, which, with the new traffic arrangements, has become accessible for the fair. According to tradition, the rest of the route includes: Via Bastione, Via Prati, Via Pilati, Viale Dante, Viale Roma, Via Martiri, Via Lutti, and Via S. Anna.
In Piazza Cavuor, cars are parked; in Piazzale Pilati, agricultural vehicles and volunteer organizations are present, such as the «la Bacionela» club, which will distribute delicious trippe.
