A fatal road accident occurred in Bedizzole yesterday afternoon along Via XX Settembre, claiming the life of a 19-year-old motorcyclist, Rufi Sejdija, originally from Macedonia and residing in Padenghe sul Garda. The tragedy unfolded when the motorcycle the young man was riding collided with a car driven by a 63-year-old man. Following the impact, the young rider was thrown from his seat and violently struck a tree located at the side of the road.
Despite the desperate attempts of several bystanders who performed CPR in an effort to revive him, there was nothing that could be done by the time emergency services arrived; the injuries sustained by the motorcyclist were fatal.
