The Lake Garda History Festival is set to host a significant event in Salò, where political scientist and historian Giovanni Orsina will lead a discussion on the figure of Silvio Berlusconi. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, July 11 at 8:30 PM in the Sala dei Provveditori of the town hall, with free admission. This occasion represents an opportunity to delve into the history of the Second Republic and its repercussions on the present.
Promoted by the Centro Studi Rsi of Salò, chaired by Professor Roberto Chiarini, the festival is now in its third edition and focuses on “The Twentieth Century and Beyond.” The program includes five evenings dedicated to prominent Italian historical figures of the 20th century, with upcoming discussions featuring Enrico Berlinguer and Bettino Craxi. The events will also be streamed live on the YouTube channel of the Centro Studi Rsi, thereby expanding access to these important historical reflections.
