The Lake Garda History Festival is set to shine a spotlight on Silvio Berlusconi, with a discussion scheduled for Friday, July 11 at 8:30 PM in the Sala dei Provveditori at the municipality of Salò. Political scientist and historian Giovanni Orsina, an expert on the history of the Second Republic, will guide the audience through an in-depth analysis of the former Prime Minister’s political saga. Admission is free, providing an important opportunity to discuss and reassess a historical phase that continues to influence current events.
This third edition of the festival, organized by the Centro Studi Rsi of Salò, chaired by Professor Roberto Chiarini, features five evenings dedicated to significant figures of the twentieth century in Italy. Among the other scheduled events, on July 19, renowned historian Silvio Pons will speak about Enrico Berlinguer, while on July 20, Fabio Martini will discuss Bettino Craxi. Finally, Marco Follini will present on Alcide De Gasperi on August 1. The events will also be streamed live on the YouTube channel of the Centro Studi Rsi.
