A traffic accident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, May 13, along the SP14, at the border between Cavriana and Guidizzolo, involving a Fiat 500 and a tractor. The collision, which took place around 10:30 AM, involved a 20-year-old driver crashing into the heavy vehicle, operated by an 80-year-old man. Emergency services, local police from Volta Mantovana, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation.
Initial reports suggest that the car struck the tractor as it was attempting to cross the road to access an adjacent field. The violent impact destroyed the tractor and caused significant damage to the small car, which ended up in the ditch alongside the roadway. Both men were transported to Mantova hospital in yellow code; fortunately, they are not in life-threatening condition.
