A road accident has caused traffic congestion in both directions on the 45 bis “Gardesana Occidentale” in the municipality of Gargnano, around 4:00 PM. The incident occurred inside the Ciclopi tunnel, at km 88.500, involving a car and a minivan. Law enforcement and Anas personnel responded to manage traffic, while several rescue vehicles were dispatched to the scene, including an air ambulance from Brescia. Initial reports indicate that seven people were involved in the accident, but fortunately, there are no serious injuries. One adult suffered a whiplash injury, while the others sustained minor injuries. Among the passengers were two children, which prompted the precautionary request for the air ambulance. The driver of the vehicle that crossed into the opposite lane refused hospitalization and was found to be practically uninjured.
