A serious traffic accident occurred late this morning, Sunday, July 6, along the Regional Road 11 near Peschiera del Garda, involving three cars. The alert was raised around 11:30 AM, quickly bringing emergency medical personnel from the Red Cross, local police officers, firefighters from the Bardolino station, and carabinieri to the scene. According to initial reports, the vehicles collided violently for reasons still to be determined, with two cars ending up in a ditch beside the roadway.
The preliminary toll of the accident counts eight injured: seven individuals were transported to the hospital, some by helicopter and others by ambulance. An eighth person received treatment on-site without the need for hospitalization. Authorities are currently conducting investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident and ascertain responsibility.
