A traffic accident occurred around 8 PM yesterday, Wednesday, July 23, inside the Pavone tunnel, along the descent following the Sabbio Chiese exit. A car began to skid without the involvement of other vehicles, crashing against the curbs and coming to a stop in the opposite direction. The response from emergency services revealed an unexpected situation: the driver had vanished from the scene of the accident.
Investigations by the Traffic Police of Salò are currently underway to clarify the dynamics of the incident. Some witnesses reported seeing a man leave the scene, and the officers are now working to identify this individual to better understand the circumstances that led to the accident.
