The Municipality of Gavardo has announced the closure of the road along Largo Ponte, formerly known as SP116, in the historic center of Gavardo for the entire day of Wednesday, April 24th. The decision was made in order to allow the fire brigade teams to safely recover a tree that has been under the Naviglio bridge for several days, carried onto the territory by the current.
To ensure the smooth progress of the recovery operations, the Local Police will be present on site and will redirect traffic along an alternative route. Vehicles will have to follow the following itinerary: via G. Franchi – via della Ferrovia – piazza A. Moro – viale O. Avanzi – via G. Falcone and vice versa.
The temporary closure of the road may cause disruptions to traffic, therefore residents and motorists are advised to plan their journeys taking into account possible diversions and traffic slowdowns.
