Road redevelopment in Lonato: interventions for road safety

The road rehabilitation works on the SP25 “Cunettone-Esenta” in Lonato have officially begun, with an investment of 2 million euros entirely funded by the Lombardy Region. These interventions, outlined in the three-year program for 2024-2026 by the Province of Brescia, aim to enhance road safety and reduce accident rates along this vital artery that connects the city center to the surrounding districts. The works will include the construction of a new interchange and the transformation of critical intersections into roundabouts to ensure greater visibility and traffic flow. The estimated duration for the completion of the works is approximately 180 days, with a deadline set for spring 2026. The project also includes the installation of new lighting systems and a review of signage to improve traffic understanding.
