Yesterday, Monday, September 22, Salò was the site of an important road safety inspection operation conducted by the local Carabinieri, supported by the Anti-Fraud and Health Unit (NAS) of Brescia. During the operation, which took place in the city center and surrounding areas, 68 individuals were identified, including 27 foreigners, and 31 vehicles were stopped for checks. The final tally resulted in 9 fines for violations of the Highway Code, and a 47-year-old Tunisian citizen was reported for attempting to start a fire in an abandoned building. In addition to the road checks, the NAS inspected two public establishments, discovering sanitary irregularities that led to fines totaling 4,000 euros for the owners. Furthermore, three individuals were reported to the Prefecture for possession of narcotics for personal use. Law enforcement has announced that such inspections will continue in the coming weeks to ensure greater safety in the area and combat widespread illegal activities. Italian Version
