Road safety in Brescia: new awareness campaign

The Province of Brescia has launched a new awareness campaign on road safety, titled “Safe Mobility,” to address the issue of accidents related to the use of alcohol and drugs. Presented in recent days, the campaign aims to reduce the 59 fatalities already recorded in 2025, with a particular focus on young people, who are found to be the most vulnerable to these risks. Through videos and posters, the initiative seeks to promote responsible behavior among both drivers and passengers, supported by safe driving courses and educational interventions in schools. The project is the result of collaboration with various local associations and professionals in the educational and psychological fields. The campaign will be active throughout November, coinciding with the “World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims,” to emphasize the importance of prevention and adherence to road regulations. With an investment of 100,000 euros from the national government, the initiative is part of a broader effort aimed at improving safety on Brescia’s roads through intensified controls and training activities.
