In distress between Gardone and Toscolano, mother and son rescued during a hike. On the evening of Saturday, July 5th, two hikers, a mother and her son, found themselves in a critical situation while attempting to return to the valley from a hike in a rugged area. The alert was raised around 10:40 PM to the Brescia Fire Department through the Emergency Number 112, requesting the intervention of a specialized team from the Salò detachment.
Thanks to the swift action and expertise of the rescuers, the two were located and rescued without sustaining physical injuries, although they experienced moments of significant anxiety. This incident highlights the importance of safe hiking and the crucial role of mountain rescue teams, emphasizing the need to approach outdoor activities with caution, especially in adverse environmental conditions.
