An important initiative for safety on Lake Garda has been launched with the project “Lago Sicuro,” promoted by the Municipality of Bardolino in collaboration with other municipalities along the Veronese shore, including Peschiera del Garda, Castelnuovo del Garda, and Lazise. This project involves the activation of a Red Cross hydro-ambulance, which will be on standby for emergencies during the summer months, providing an effective response to the urgent medical needs in a highly frequented tourist area. The hydro-ambulance will be operational every day from 10 AM to 6 PM in July and August, and it will also offer service on weekends in June and September.
The Mayor of Bardolino, Daniele Bertasi, emphasized the importance of the commitment of the rescuers involved in the project, highlighting how this initiative contributes to making the lake safer for both residents and tourists. With “Lago Sicuro,” local administrations demonstrate a strong commitment to integrated safety management in the area, enhancing collaboration between institutional entities and the support of volunteers in protecting the waters of Lake Garda.
