Sailing Event at Portese Kicks Off Autumn Gathering for Enthusiasts

The sailing gathering scheduled for next Sunday, October 24th, will mark the start of the very fun, and why not, adventurous solo or duo gathering for Him and Her.

This event has become a fixed tradition each early autumn, appealing both to sailing enthusiasts and to those who enjoy sailing without any competitive ambitions.

Organization Details

The Circolo Nautico di Portese has been organizing this event for several years. It is not intended to be a true race, but its program and regulations reflect the main navigation rules established for official regattas.

The participants, expected to be around twenty vessels across various categories, should be ready for departure, signaled 5 minutes before with an acoustic signal at 10:00 a.m.

The start will be at a gate with a motorboat from the organizing club and a yellow flag on the Portese dock.

Course and Prizes

The course will be Portese – Secca del Vò – Portese; the finish line is located at the Circolo Nautico di Portese dock.

At the end, there will be the traditional prize-giving ceremony along with the inevitable refreshment open to all participants and their supporters.
