The Salerno Nautical Center was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

The center’s facilities host many students who attend swimming, sailing, and water activities. The structure includes a large indoor swimming pool and extensive areas for learning and training.

Students participate in practical drills, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on marine conservation are also held there.
