A mobile laboratory from ArpA Lombardia has been set up in Piazzale Martiri della Libertà in Salò to launch a campaign for air quality monitoring. This initiative aims to detect the main atmospheric pollutants and gather meteorological data, which are essential for accurately interpreting the results. The campaign, promoted by the municipal administration, will last for eight weeks and is divided into two periods throughout the year to ensure a more representative data collection.
The data obtained from the mobile laboratory will complement the information from the fixed stations already present in the Regional Air Quality Monitoring Network (RRQA), thus providing a more comprehensive view of the local environmental status. This project underscores the community’s commitment to monitoring and improving air quality, contributing to public health and environmental sustainability.
