In Salò, a collaboration has been established between the municipal administration and the National Carabinieri Association, Salò branch, to enhance security during the weekly Saturday market. Starting today, June 7, and continuing until September, four volunteer Carabinieri will be present in the market area, which attracts thousands of visitors each weekend, both residents and tourists. The agreement aims to support local law enforcement in ensuring the smooth operation of commercial activities and managing traffic.
The volunteers will provide visibility and patrol services, reporting any illegal behavior to the relevant authorities. Mayor Francesco Cagnini and the Security Councillor Roberto Novelli expressed their satisfaction with this initiative, emphasizing the importance of such measures in combating criminal activities and promoting a safer environment for everyone.
