The initiative Civic Generation 2025, sponsored by the Lombardy Region and supported by the municipalities of Salò and Roè Volciano, aims to educate young active citizens through a program that combines theory and practice. Organized by the National Paratroopers Association of Italy – Brescia Section (ANPd’I), the program is targeted at youth aged between 14 and 20, offering lessons on topics such as active citizenship, civil protection, and first aid. The project runs from January to May, featuring weekly meetings and culminating in a three-day final exercise that simulates emergency scenarios.
From May 30 to June 1, participants engaged in a continuous 48-hour exercise between Salò and Roè Volciano, where they applied the skills they had learned. Under the supervision of armed forces personnel and civil protection volunteers, the young people faced physical and technical challenges, first aid simulations, and legality tests. This project not only aims to train responsible citizens but also to instill fundamental values such as courage, discipline, and a spirit of service.
