The Garda Musical Summer is gearing up for an unmissable event with the concert “Morricone Rarities,” set to take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 9:30 PM in Piazza Duomo in Salò. Following a successful preview along the lakeside, the festival will come to life under the direction of Maestro Marco Serino, known for his collaboration with the legendary composer Ennio Morricone. The Padua and Veneto Orchestra will accompany the event, recognized as one of Italy’s leading musical ensembles. In the event of bad weather, the concert will be held inside the Duomo.
On the afternoon of the same day, at 6 PM, a free meeting will take place in the Sala dei Provveditori with Marco Morricone, the son of Maestro Ennio, who will engage in a discussion with Roberta Ghirardi about the book “Ennio Morricone. The Genius, The Man, The Father.” Individual tickets for the concert are still available at the Infopoint in Piazza S. Antonio.
