Salò: dog trapped in the chimney, Firefighters in action

On the evening of Wednesday, September 10th, a distressing incident occurred in **Salò**, where a small dog became trapped in the ventilation pipe of a fireplace. The alert was raised around 7:50 PM when the dog’s owner, Lara, contacted emergency services for urgent assistance. A team from the Provincial Command of the **Fire Brigade** of Brescia promptly arrived on the scene to initiate the rescue operations.

The firefighters had to create an opening near the chimney, and using an endoscopic camera, they were able to accurately locate the spot where the dog was trapped. With great care and professionalism, the rescuers managed to retrieve the animal, which, although frightened, was uninjured. The little dog was returned to its owner, who expressed her immense joy at the happy outcome of the situation.
