Salò is gearing up to kick off the summer season with “Salò in Musica”, an event that promises to enliven the evenings in the town center and along the lakeside. On the Thursdays of June 12, July 3, August 14, and August 21, live music will take center stage, offering attendees the chance to immerse themselves in a musical journey ranging from the American jazz of the 1930s and 1940s to contemporary sounds. The event, organized by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with the Proloco and the Salò ProMotion Merchants’ Association, will commence at 8:30 PM and will feature seven musical points spread along the lakeside and in Fossa.
This initiative not only aims to promote local musical culture but also to encourage evening commerce: some shops will remain open until 11:00 PM to facilitate nighttime shopping. Last year, over 4,000 people attended each evening, highlighting the event’s great success. Andrea Maggioni, president of the merchants’ association, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in making Salò an attractive destination for both tourists and residents during the summer months.
