The 40th edition of the Salò Sail Meeting concluded successfully on Sunday, July 13, at the lakeside of Salò, where 25 boats participated in intense races. The event, organized by the Società Canottieri Garda, featured several classes including Protagonist, Fun, and Meteor. With a steady wind of 9 knots, the competition peaked with the victory of the boat Casper, helmed by Lorenza Mariani, who managed to turn around an initial third-place position to win the Salò Sail Meeting Trophy.
In second place in the Protagonist 7.5 class was El Moro, helmed by Giulia Barbera, while General Lee skippered by Mauro Spagnoli secured third place. In the Fun class, Wanderfund of Alberto Azzi emerged victorious, while in the Meteor class, Synergos of Mattia Bustos Battocchio won for the first time. Nicola Benedetti, President of the Società Canottieri Garda Salò, emphasized the historical significance of the event and the efforts of the organizing team in ensuring a smooth edition.
