San Felice Boat Race Results Highlight Circolo Nautico’s Upcoming Trans Benaco Cruise
On a typically summer day, Sunday, June 6, the traditional Trofeo Comune di San Felice took place in the waters off Portese port, organized by the Circolo Nautico Portese.
Results of the race
The race, completed in a couple of hours due to the light breeze present, saw the registration and participation of 25 boats belonging to the UFO, Dolphin, and Protagonist classes.
For the UFO class, the first place was awarded to Luca Valerio sailing the Quasar; followed by Adriano Chilò on ITA 005, and in third position, Roberto Binosi on ITA 019.
In the DOLPHIN 81 class, the top spot went to Giuseppe Tonoli on Farfallina, owned by Oscar Tonoli; second place for Marco Polettini on Capovento; and third position for Raffaele Bonatti, sailing Locutus from Borg.
Serena, helmed by Paolo Masserdotti, took first place in the Protagonist class; followed by Sunrise by Leonardo Boifava; and third place for Baffun 2 by Giampiero Curami.
Future commitment of Circolo Nautico
This race is now archived, and the Circolo Nautico di Portese – chaired by Italo Mosca – is focused on its most important sailing event of the season, the Trans Benaco Cruise Race, scheduled for July 24-25, covering the route, over two days, Portese – Riva del Garda and back.
