The young people of San Felice del Benaco, with the support of the Maddalina Association and the local parents’ association Tribu, have organized a charity market to raise funds for their peers in Gaza. The event will take place on Saturday, August 16, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Baia del Vento. The proceeds will be donated to Gaza Freestyle, an initiative active since 2014 that promotes sports, art, and recreational projects for the youth in the region, in response to the current challenging situation.
During the market, children will be able to bring games, books, and items in good condition to set up their own stalls, sell, and trade with other participants. Among the offerings will be jewelry made by three girls from San Felice, crafted with beads that spell out the words “Palestine” and “Gaza” in Morse code. This initiative represents a small gesture of solidarity to support vital programs in the war-torn strip of land.
