San Pietro Nursery School Opening Set for St. Lucia’s Day

“Finally, we can inaugurate the new San Pietro nursery school, and we will do so on St. Lucia’s Day”. With these words, Giuseppe Bertoli, the Education Councillor, announced the celebration scheduled for December 13th at 4 PM at the building on via Botteghino.

Planned shortly after the Sigurtà administration took office, the opening to children occurred at the start of the school year. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in a couple of weeks.

The project cost three billion lire, covers an area of 13,000 square meters, and includes 4 sections for about one hundred young students aged between 3 and 5 years old.

Thus, the new kindergarten has vacated the nearby elementary school building, which has now regained space for its activities.
