The conference “Biodiversity and Agrobiodiversity: Tools to Combat Genetic Erosion” will take place on Thursday, November 20, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Forest Consortium Terra tra i due Laghi. It will focus on the Saxifraga tombeanensis, a rare species found in the Valvestino. Organized in collaboration with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, the event aims to explore strategies for safeguarding local biodiversity and agrobiodiversity, featuring presentations from experts who will address topics such as the reintroduction of native plant species and the enhancement of genetic resources. This meeting represents an important opportunity to delve into the issues related to biodiversity conservation in the Alto Garda Bresciano park.
