Scam Alert: Fake Carabinieri Impersonators Target Garda Business Owners

They impersonate carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurant owners in the middle and upper Garda area, offering magazine subscriptions from the Arma.

They are not military personnel, but swindlers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, police, fire brigade, or municipal police.
