Scammers Fake Carabinieri Calls to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hotel owners, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda, offering subscriptions to magazines associated with the force.

They are not military personnel, but rather scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, police, fire brigade, or municipal police.

Recognizing the scams
