Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri in Garda to Fleece Local Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurants in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to publications of the armed forces.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Municipal police.
