They impersonate Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurateurs in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to magazines of the armed force.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, police, fire brigade, or municipal police.
