Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri Offering Fake Magazine Subscriptions

The perpetrators pretend to be Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to military magazines of the arm.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance department, police, fire brigade, or the Municipality police.

How to recognize scams
