Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Offer Fake Magazine Subscriptions

Pretending to be Carabinieri, they contact hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda regions by phone, offering subscriptions to the arma magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, the police, fire brigade, or the Comune police.

How to recognize scams

They often suggest subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or those unrelated to law enforcement.
