P retend to be Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda area, offering subscriptions to arme magazines.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, at different times, claim to belong to the finance police, the police force, the fire brigade, or the Municipal police.

How to recognize scams
