Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Trick Garda Area Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurateurs in the Middle and Upper Garda area, proposing subscriptions to magazines affiliated with the force.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who alternately claim to belong to the finance department, the police, the fire brigade, or the municipal police.
