Scammers Impersonate Police to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions in Garda

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda areas, offering subscriptions to military publications.

These are not soldiers, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be part of the finance police, the police, firefighters, or the Comune police.

How to Recognize Scams

They often propose subscriptions to non-existent magazines or those that have nothing to do with law enforcement agencies.
