Scammers Pose as Carabinieri in Garda Area to Trick Businesses

They pose as Carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda area, offering subscriptions to the arma magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance, police, fire brigade, or the Comune police.

How to recognize scams

They often propose subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or publications unrelated to the law enforcement.
