Scammers Pose as Carabinieri Offering Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pretend to be Carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda, offering subscriptions to army magazines.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be part of the finance police, police, fire brigade, or the Municipal police.

How to recognize scams

They often propose subscriptions to non-existent magazines or those that have nothing to do with law enforcement agencies.
