Scammers Pose as Carabinieri to Trick Garda Business Owners

They pretend to be carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, craftsmen, and restaurateurs in the middle and upper Garda area, proposing subscriptions to military magazines.

These are not law enforcement officers, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, police, fire brigade, or municipal police.

They often propose subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or magazines that have nothing to do with law enforcement agencies.
